The durable but stiff kevlar string is ideal as part of a hybrid stringing combination with a more flexible string in the cross section.

Construction:

Kevlar tennis string

• Kevlar is an extremely stiff material that provides excellent durability, as much as 5 times the durability of nylon
• mostly combined with another more elastic string to increase playability

• kevlar is usually used in length direction while an elastic string (synthetic/natural gut) is used as width string

We advise to use 10% less tension in the mains compared to regular strings. Because of its stiffness it is not a good string for anybody who has history with any sort of ellbow injury.
