Why string yourself?

Why would you buy a stringer?
It may surprise you, but buying a stringer to be able to string your own tennis rackets, is more relevant than you'd expect at first sight! People who play competitively or families with several tennis players know the problem: every week at least one tennis string breaks.

The time and money you spend to restring your racket in a sports store, make your hobby, tennis, an expensive sport.

With your own stringer, you will not only save a lot of money on your strings costs (no stringing wage, cheaper tennis strings, no transport costs = 2 times back and forth), you also string when and where you want.

Even if you only count the time to bring your broken tennis racket to the sports store, drive back home, then pick up the restrung tennis racket and drive back home again, you would long have restrung your own tennis racket in that time.

I suppose a stringer costs a lot of money?
Not at all. You can buy a decent stringer with TennisPlanet starting at €329 already. You can make a profit on that within a year if you string 20 or more rackets (yourself, family, friends, club members) per year.

I suppose stringing yourself is very difficult?
No it's not. Even children starting from the age of twelve can do it already. You will find a clear manual with each stringer you buy at TennisPlanet. After stringing 3 or 4 rackets, you will have gotten the hang of it.

Stringing your own tennis racket, I bet that takes a long time?
Not really. Once you get the hang of it, and depending on your experience, it will take between 30 and 60 minutes to string a tennis racket.

Guarantee on a stringer?
TennisPlanet is 100% certain of the quality of its stringers. That is why we give you a 5 year guarantee on all mechanical parts and one year on the grip pincers and electronical parts.
